The aim to grow personal well being and happiness is not specifically pandemic related, but feeling well is more than helpful in times of crisis. Best thing is: there is a course to learn – and even better – it is a free offering from Yale professor Laurie Santos. I have taken „The science of Well-being“ during the pandemic to fill spare time with useful input and I can only say it is truly well put together and either a re-fresh on what matters or fantastic fresh input – not just for College students, but anyone. If you don’t want to go the whole way, just the early elements are of good use, e.g. the VA Institute on Character test on personal strengths. Go to Coursera and sign up for it if you are looking for a good lunchtime filler.
